Costa Esuri Golf Resort

Situated in the borough of Ayamonte, the Costa Esuri Golf complex is located on the bank of the river Guadiana with spectacular views to Portugal and to the mouth of the river, and surrounded by the Guadiana salt marshes and lagoons.

The excellent communications of the course with Seville and Faro Airport, and only 2 km from the highway Seville-Portugal, combined with a mild climate with an average temperature of 20º C, make Golf Costa Esuri a priviliged destination for the players of golf.

Opened in March 2007, Costa Esuri West is a superb riverside parkland course with a real links feel. The prevailing wind off the Guadiana River, which forms the border between Spain and Portugal, brings added challenge to the layout, but the fairways are wide and fair. Intended to host tour events, the course is long and challenging, but without being a slog.

A residential area borders only the West course down one side and does not cut in to any of the fairways.

The clubhouse has a large bar area and sun terrace overlooking the river and substantial practice area. The food is excellent in the clubhouse, particularly the breakfast.
